What Sets Us Apart
Dr. Práther is a board-certified surgeon who graduated from an accredited dental school, is licensed in the state of Ohio, and completed a four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program approved by the American Dental Association’s Commission on Dental Accreditation.
During his oral and maxillofacial surgery residencies, he received graduate training in other disciplines such as general surgery, plastic surgery, medicine, anesthesia, and pathology. In addition, he trained to treat patients in hospital and outpatient surgery settings, as well as his state-of-the-art office in West Chester.
Implant Specialty Care
Dr. Práther has exceptional experience and specializes in the placement of dental implants, as well as bone grafting when necessary for their success.
As a dental implant specialist, Dr. Práther received specialized training in the placement and restoration of dental implants. He has completed additional education and training beyond what is required for general dentistry, and has developed a high level of expertise in implant dentistry.
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots that are placed into the jawbone to support a replacement tooth or bridge. Implants are a popular and effective way to replace missing teeth, but the process requires precision and skill. Dr. Práther has the knowledge and experience to assess his patients’ suitability for implants, plan the placement of the implants, and ensure that the implants are properly integrated into the jawbone.
He also treats a wide range of oral and facial conditions, from non-restorable, missing, and impacted teeth to bony and soft tissue pathology of the skeletal structure. He excels in his ability to correct misalignment of the jaw such as overbites or under bites.
